The Bella Coola Community Shared Agriculture Project

The Bella Coola Community Shared Agriculture Project  (CSA) aims at rejuvenating the valley’s agriculture via the promotion of a new food economy based on the values of sound agricultural practices and community. The Bella Coola Valley is nestled between the two largest mountain formations in BC. The Valley bottom boasts fertile river delta land that is fed by countless creeks and rivers making it a perfect location to grow a wide variety of crops. In the past, the valley was considered a “food hub” for the region that includes the areas between Williams Lake in the Cariboo and Bella Bella on the coast. Today, a group of committed individuals are attempting to bring the spirit of agriculture alive again.

Our goal is to make “local” produce the easy choice!
